Safe Caravans for Salvadoran Tourists

During the August holidays, many Salvadorans visit Guatemala. mainly by land. Due to the above and with the purpose of guaranteeing the safety of our compatriots, this Diplomatic and Consular representation has made arrangements with the tourism and security authorities of Guatemala, for the implementation of the Safe Caravans Plan.

The Safe Caravans are in charge of the Tourist Security Division (Disetur) of the National Civil Police of Guatemala, whose purpose is to accompany Salvadoran tourists from the Valle Nuevo / Las Chinamas border to the capital city of Guatemala and vice versa.
